We have new neighbours moving in today after months of the peace and quiet of an empty house. I'm gutted. That lighthouse is looking very tempting right now.

We seem to attract them. This lot turned up with kids and dogs in tow :( It kind of makes moving to a quiet place rather pointless.

The Bass Rock is its name. ^^ It's the main island in the group of four that are scattered along the Firth of Forth (the ocean beside North Berwick).
Great picture of the island, I don't often see it from that angle. ^^

i just heard that there is this ony gannet chick left behind on the Bass Rock all alone =( its called Maximus, it was on the news
